Deceit
A fun game where a group of six friends needs to figure out which two in the group are the impostors. The impostors are because of the virus infection transformed into creatures called Terrors every time the lights go out. In order to escape the Terrors and figure out who from your group is infected and who is not, you will have to trust some of your friends. Deceit is one of the co-op horror pc games popular among streamers and can be played on Steam for free.
Dead by Daylight
While a group of four friends is working together in order to escape and power up the escape gates by fixing the five generators, the killer needs to hunt them down and hang them on the hook to satisfy the malevolent force called Entity. Dead by Daylight is one of those co-op horror games for pc where the goal can’t be achieved alone but requires a group of friends working together.
The Forest
After the plane crash, you as a character Eric LeBlanc and your other friend need to face cannibalistic mutants to find Eric’s son Timmy. The Forest is one of the most disturbing co-op horror games on Steam, played from a first-person perspective, that will play with your nerves and make you question if the peninsula’s monsters are enemies or not multiple times.
Left 4 Dead 2
Some may argue that Left 4 Dead 2 is not a horror game but when hordes of aggressive zombies start to crush down your teammates I would call it one of the best co-op horror games for pc. Four players to survive have to fight numerous waves of infected zombies and rush thru five safe houses to escape the infected camps.
Phasmophobia
As one of the most popular co-op horror pc games among streamers, Phasmophobia is a well-known paranormal horror game where a group of four friends is trying to identify what type of entity is haunting in order to get paid and improve their hunting equipment. Kinetic Games went well beyond expectation with an offering from speech recognition where ghosts can hear players to voice chat and multiple other tools such as walkie-talkies, voice recorders, and infrared sensors to give you terrifying real-life experience.

By collecting multiple items and facing neverending puzzles and terrifying obstacles you will try to help yourself and your friends to escape this creepy maze full of same-looking walls and dead ends.
